Another author once un- and republished their books, but i thought it was a new book since i just discovered the author, but when i looked at the comments i saw that a lot of them were from a few years ago, that s how i know that the book got unpublished and republished, i don t know about the views though, but the book did have a lot of views, but i don t know anything for sure since i don t write myself, so i don t really know how it works, but i would say, it's worth a try?
