Sophie, also known under her shitpost handle @_soapytea, is a queer creator obsessed with storytelling. She lives a dual life, writing code by day and writing novels by night, somewhat akin to Batman. Also like Batman, she's not the hero the world wants. Unlike Batman, she's also not the hero the world needs. 

Once upon a time, Sophie was a bright and hopeful cognitive science researcher, with prestigious publications in both Science and Nature. However, when covid hit, she decided to ditch her life of security and comfort to embrace the unknown and pursue her true passion: poverty. 

By becoming a novelist, digital artist, and composer, she's made her dream come true in record time, with a bank account constantly on life support.
