Hello everyone, I apologize for being on a long hiatus. After revisiting the site this year, I got a message from Wattpad saying that they took down Our Long Lost Child (OLLC) for "a violation of policies and/or guidelines."
I am absolutely devastated because the story had been up for 6 years (it was first published in January 2018), why was it deleted now in June 2024? It was never changed nor updated, so I have no idea what policies it apparently violated. I sent an appeal to Wattpad, and I am currently waiting on a response. I've already waited a week, and I am afraid that I might not be able to restore OLLC to its original state. Unfortunately, I do not have a copy. I only have unpolished rough drafts. I would have to rewrite the entire thing which will take a while, since I am now in college studying biochemistry.
I had planned on finishing the story till its end. Where I left off, it was right towards the happy finale everyone was waiting for. The only problem is, I did not know how to write it. I had a huge writer's block that led to my hiatus, and at the time I was a junior in high school that took way too many AP classes. I completely forgot about this account when COVID hit, and I had tried to venture off into my own romance story that did not go so well at first. I was young & didn't know any better, and I ended up in a situation where I was SA-ed. I did not realize it was SA until after I left that person, and that made me hate both my body and romance. Eventually, I found someone who loves me for who I am & actually asks for consent. Now that I believe in romance again, my current boyfriend convinced me to return to Wattpad. I even posted a TikTok about it, and after it got so many views, OLLC got deleted. I even have half of the next chapter written, and now I don't even know what to do anymore with the entire story wiped off Wattpad. I apologize to everyone who waited all these years, if you guys want me to repost OLLC, please let me know

@_thefairytailnalu_ Do you still have the basic version on your PC? Just repost it to Dan... Under a slightly different narmen.... I rather think that some complained... And that's why it would be deleted... They were envious people who did not pay for the success.

@sirhclyr thank you for checking in on me <3 I am doing much better now mentally, however I am devastated that Wattpad took down OLLC for "a violation of policies and/or guidelines" and I have no idea what guidelines it violated. I wish to come back to writing, but I don't have a copy of OLLC to reupload :( Other than that, I hope that you're doing okay too!

@IceFox606 thank you for checking in on me, and for your patience! <3 I apologize for the long wait. 2020-2021 was a rough time for me, however I wanted to come back for a while. Unfortunately OLLC got taken down by Wattpad for "a violation of policies and/or guidelines" and I have no idea what policies it violated. I wish to come back, however I don't have a copy of the original OLLC :(

Unfortunately Wattpad took down OLLC for a "a violation of policies and/or guidelines" and did not specify what policies it violated, so I have no idea why it was taken down. If I were to reupload it, it would take a while since I don't have copies of the earliest chapters :(

@ineedanameiknow so sorry for the late response! Wattpad took down Our Long Lost Child for a "a violation of policies and/or guidelines" even though I have not touched it since 2019. I don't know what to do now since I don't have a copy of the early chapters if I were to reupload it :( but I can try to get it back up it will just take me even longer to update.

Unfortunately, Wattpad took OLLC down for a "a violation of policies and/or guidelines" right when I was working on the next chapter. I do not know what to do anymore as I do not have a copy of the early chapters :(

Sorry I haven’t been updating lately! I’ve been a busy bee nowadays since school is coming up.... After my SAT tomorrow I’ll try to finish a chapter, then I’ll announce a mini hiatus. I’m really sorry for making you guys wait

I know I said I’ll work on MBFW Book 2 after I finish OLLC, but I’m starting to brainstorm the plot of another fic that I have in my notes. Aaaahhh I really wanna write this one next but I don’t want you guys to wait any longer for the MBFW sequel...
