Hey guys. I know it’s been a minute since I’ve been active, and that updates have been pretty short/low quality/nonexistent. I’m sorry for the lack of updates and for the pretty much radio silence.
I’m going to start this off by saying that Falling Up won’t be continued. This is due to several reasons, the main being that I was never happy with the story nor the way it was going. I found myself being rapidly burned out by writing it and I simply wasn’t enjoying myself.
The next being that I’m rather short on time lately. I work a lot and don’t have the most time outside of work to write anymore. Plus, with all the stress in my life and from work, I don’t want to add writing a story I don’t love anymore on top of everything.
The final reason is that writing is quite difficult for me lately. I have RP, or retinitis pigmentosa. I have days where I can barely read without blowing the text up to full size, and when my vision gets too unfocused, it’s difficult in general. So, that on top of everything, makes writing stressful and exhausting.
I was never the most passionate about writing. I started this story a long time ago. My first draft is from 2019 and there have been 7 drafts since. Hato has changed with each part of my life, and he and my story still mean a lot to me. But I think it’s time to finally let it go. It was fun, and thank you all so much for all of your support and comments.
I’ll be sharing this under Falling Up, and then marking the story as complete. So, this is goodbye.
