I’ve added a small but important update to Painted Windows.
          	
          	Ana doesn’t remember the exact day her mum left. Not clearly. But she remembers the after. Avó sleeping in Mum’s room. The quiet in the house. The strange feeling of missing her but also being able to breathe.
          	
          	This chapter already carried a lot of Ana’s childhood fear, but this addition gives more weight to what came next and why Ana becomes so good at accepting things she never wanted.
          	
          	If you’ve already read it, you may want to revisit the ending. It hits a little differently now.
