Twirl me until I'm

Rewatched Gravity Falls a few months ago, inspired partially by the release of Book of Bill (which I loved btw), and my old hyperfixation is back in full swing. Do any of you have any Gravity Falls fics you wrote or would like to recommend? I'm currently focused mostly on the old guys (Stan & the Fords) and their backstories (I need Fiddauthor fics PLEASE) but I would love stories about any character or ship :>

This is random, but a friend of mine @-Butterscotch- is in Germany for (theoretically) a year to stay with her father. She knows a little bit of German but her native language is Portuguese and she speaks English much better than German. She doesn't know many people there either- I was wondering if any of y'all are from there and are alright with talking to her, to practice German and just interact with people in general? This isn't to meet up irl due to safety, simply to lead her through life over there.
          (@Dark_C0rner this may be indirectly targeted at you btw, I was gonna just comment on your profile but maybe more people here are German so I'm just gonna do this announcement on my own page-)

sorry for the double post but i need to include this. my new year's resolution is to FINALLY finish the second prologue of reverie, and hopefully remake it for the masc and enby versions. i'm sorry i suck as a fanfic author
          i have a second resolution: to finish the pony island/hex/inscryption video series by flaw peacock (totaling to about 11 hours of pure video essay, and it's not even completed), including for the two videos he'll still release for inscryption. i'll need strength for this...

... i forgot to post here on by birthday... and also on christmas. oh well. happy new year y'all!! i only have 35 minutes to go. hopefully 2024 is bright for all of you <3

personal life stuff. no need to read--
          
          it has been a VERY exciting weekend. i went to a comic con, met a developer for an obscure indie game i've been really excited for (nowhere manor! the dev, monaramis, is really sweet btw), and got an autograph from fucking JUNJI ITO. i also met caio yo, artist and writer for a few graphic novels i've been wanting to read. he is such a cutie. and i talked to plenty of others! i'm so happy i went to this.

I wanted to clear something up that's been stuck in my mind, relating to Reverie. If you followed for that story, please read this.
          
          Those of you who have read Reverie past a certain point know about this particular announcement between chapters of how I was going to release two more versions of the story, edited to respectively include a male protagonist and a non-binary protagonist. This idea primarily came to me because I had recently come out as trans ftm.
          
          I'm still going to make these versions, but I wanted to focus on a small line in the announcement. I've fixed it a little while ago, but many people had read it before that. Specifically about the planned male version, I added a small comment saying "yes, it's going to be gay".
          
          This bugged me for a REALLY long time because it really just seemed like I was fetichizing homosexual male relationships, in the style of the "OMG yaoi is sooo kawaii >.<" girls, which disgusts me SO much. Why else would the readers assume I added that comment? It was redundant to what I was saying previously.
          
          The reason I had added this is because some writers genderbend characters with the intent of keeping the ship straight. So, in this hypothetical case, alongside genderbending the protagonist, Chris would be genderbent as well. I  did not want to do that, so I clarified with the comment, but... it probably just misrepresented the whole thing.
          
          I'm here to state: I don't fetichize gay male relationships, I find that practice abhorrent. Gay relationships are just another color of romance and are not inherently "cuter" or something to be gawked at, especially by non-masculine people. I don't want to be associated with this in any way.
          
          I've also just been working on updating the wording of my profile. I created this account when I was a preteen and used language like "waifu" even though I barely watch anime LMAO. So, just excuse my general cringiness, I've just been too lazy to revisit old stuff that I typed.
