Anyways, I created this archive account, dedicated to Edith Nesbit's short stories. All the books published here are by Edith Nesbit and in the public domain.

Edith Nesbit (1858-1924), who published as E. Nesbit, was a pioneering English author and poet best known for her imaginative children's literature, including the classics The Railway Children, Five Children and It, and The Story of the Treasure Seekers.

However, she also writes many stories for adults, mostly short story collections, such as The Literary Sense and Grim Tales. These, while lesser known are truly gems in their own way. Many are based on romance, and range from satirical tales to bone chilling narratives.
