I published a new story, called "Your Not-So-Secret Admirer."
          
          It was originally written for my English class as a project. My professor loved it so much, that she suggested I submit it to the Yahara Book Journal -- my school's writing competition. 
          
          Why have I never published it here before? Not sure, but it's here now.

Long time, no see. 
          
          It's been quite a busy year for me. I started my first year of college, passed my driving test -- yippee!
          
          I'm working on a new project, based on the novel "Summer to Remember" by Ronald R. Schuster. Anyone heard of it? It's fairly obscure, so I wouldn't be surprised if you haven't. Still it's a very cute story. Even though it's not the best of the best written, I thought it was worth reading. 
          
          The novel takes place on San Martin (pronounced San Mar-TEEN), a fictional resort island thirty miles off the coast of California. It follows the adventures of Lenny Morse, a painfully shy high school graduate, who travels to San Martin for the summer to make money for college. Really, it's a lot more interesting than I'm making it sound right now.
          
          My project is called "San Martin Island Co." and I will be submitting a sneak peek later on tonight, along with an in-depth character page, more info about the setting, and changes I've made.
