          i finished code name verity yesterday
          such a good book, definitely recommend to anyone who like historical fiction

i watched ‘handsome devil’ earlier. i had no idea andrew scott was in it and i nearly screamed when i saw him lmao.

alright so a few minutes ago i glanced at my alarm clock (no idea why, my phone was right next to me because music) and it said 1:01 (yes, i need to go to sleep, shut up)
          
          anyway, i kid you not when i say that i stared at that number until it changed and my only two thoughts were: ‘oh like 101 dalmatians?’ and ‘is the clock saying lol?’

i just finished watching west side story and i am hurt inside. that was DEPRESSING. like i’m not sure what i expected, it’s based on romeo and juliet and directed by steven spielberg. but seriously. the way maria’s hands were shaking as she held the gun and said, ‘how many can i kill, and still have a bullet left for me?’ HELP I AM IN AGONY AND I DON’T EVEN LIKE ROMANCE MOVIES
          
          
          on a side note, there was a lot of queer energy for a movie that takes place in the 50s. but anyway. ((also i’m pretty sure this one character (don’t know their name) was possibly trans but unable to transition because again, 50s))

k, finished rewatching sherlock, that was fun. probably will do it again in a few months, but may (probably not but maybe) skip ‘the lying detective’ because pain.
          
          also, i just want to say - i really don’t hate series 4. a bunch of people do, and i know it’s because it isn’t up to sherlock’s usual standard and whatnot. however, despite that, i feel the need to consider that it is still better than a lot of other tv shows. and ‘the final problem’? maybe it wasn’t as good of a finale as i had hoped for, but it was still interesting and i still enjoyed it. people hate eurus, and me, contrary to that opinion, i think that a villain who is extremely intelligent but also broken and psychotic is a good villain. she could have been written better, but sian brooke did a good job portraying her, and she was still a good character. my main complaint is that johnlock isn’t entirely canon by the end of the series, it’s only about 50-75% there and it bugs me that moftiss wouldn’t finished the job.
          
          uh—anyway. still waiting for series 5.
