Half of the story ideas that I have are formed by the stupidest of things.
Example 3) https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dQw4w9WgXcQ jkjkjk I read a post a few weeks ago about authors needing to stop writing about a girl who's life changes when she meets a boy, and I thought 'hey. Murder :DD' (Not my exact thought process but that's pretty much what the book idea is) (I actually didn't take someone's idea, although my idea was based off of one of the people's ideas. Idk where the thing is so ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ )
Example 2) The door was open to a door that normally shuts by itself, and I thought 'hey. It'd be cool if there were invisible servants'
Example 1) I was sorting my mechanical pencil lead into a upside-down cootie catcher that I made (Don't ask) and thought 'hey- It'd be cool if this was like a population sorted by age'
Okay so... (I might be late) but there's this trend, like 'Introduce the monsters from your childhood'.
But- I don't get it? Like what are the monsters from your childhood? (I'm just asking what they are in general) Do they all have similar traits? Does everyone have them? Are they meant to be scary or are they like imaginary friends? Or other?
