Hullo folks! There's two exciting things that I wish to inform you guys about. The first one of them is... I'm a Wattpad Ambassador now. I'm officially part of the Wattpad Ambassadors Program now under the Outreach department and I'm so honored to have received the opportunity. 
          	
          	Secondly, Poison Among Shadows was featured on the Asian-American and Pacific Islander Heritage Month reading list! There was also an interview that I did that should be up in a few days for you all to read. The story has brought me endless joy and I can't wait to share the next chapter with you in a couple days. It's in the works right now. 
          	
          	With that said, I hope you all are doing well, and if not, then I wish things get better for you. Feel free to drop whatever you guys have been doing lately and if there are any projects you've been working on. I'd love to hear from you. ❤️

Hi people! So there are a couple things that I want to get out of the way. I am back. Finally, officially back. I have been MIA for almost 6 months now and haven't been able to write, but finally, I've decided to put my foot down and get some writing done. I moved countries and with university on top of that, writing and Wattpad took a backseat for a while. I'll not be back in the groove until about two weeks from now and you probably won't see an update on PaS until three weeks from now, but I'm happy I've been able to make a decision to come back either way.
          
          With that said, I hope you all stick around and look forward to the updates.

          This is mostly a warning announcement regarding something I faced in the Misfits Awards hosted by @kek_lee_writes . In a nutshell, they hosted the awards, announced the results and a day after that was done, they removed all award-related chapters and started uploading chapters of their personal novel with a changed name and title. This ended up flooding my notification center. I suppose they hosted awards for views and when they got them, they tried to fool whoever participated in them into reading their work. When I called them out on it, they blocked me and told me they could whatever they wished with the book. Just be warned against such people; they’re mostly there to gain reads and hoard people into their newly founded communities.

I just saw their announcement tagging you and @RowanCarver. After the results were announced I removed it from my library to keep my notifications purposeful and organised. Had it not been for her announcement I'd never even know this... Betrayal? It feels that way. At the very least this is a cheap tactic.
            
            Thank you for being vigilant, calling her out and letting this come to light. Now that I know you tried to talk to them about it and got blocked (unlike their claim that you were bad mouthing them without first approaching them), I understand this fiasco better.
            
            I thought it was odd for them to actually apologise if someone 'thought' it was bad... That's rather shameless... It's clearly bad. They asked to let them know in the comments if someone thought this was a problem, but when I tried to reply, they already took it down.
            
            My first time coming across something like this.

@winteringpages- No worries! I feel like such people are excused and not called out for their misconduct so many times on this platform and it’s about time we put our foot down. They could’ve directed people to their book with the help of those awards, but to change the book to something else and tricking people into reading it is not it.

Some big and important annoucements!
          
          First of all, I'm slowly and gradually getting back into Wattpad, which means I'll be starting reading other people's books again and be giving feedback! That said, the people who requested their reviews from should also keep an eye out for their reviews, though I make no promises--life has been hard, and it may be a good while before all the requested reviews are out of the way.
          Secondly, PaS, after it having been on hiatus for the past couple months (it was  a much needed, I feel like) will be back to its regular updates. There was a conflict in my head over whether to continue posting it on Wattpad or take it down and write it offline first, but I figure keeping it up here and having some wonderful people give their feedback on it keeps my spirits up. Chapter 18 will (hopefully) be up by the 12th of this month. So, again, keep an eye out!
          Last but not least, where I live, festive season is approaching, so while the updates for PaS may be a bit spaced out, I'll try to be as consistent with them as possible. It hurts me to leave you guys hanging. 
          
          Having said that, have a wonderful week, and if you've any book recs you'd like to give me, feel free to drop them!

Finally, after a looong wait, I've overcome my writer's block. *cheers* 
          
          So, with that, Chapter 17 for Poison Among Shadows is now up! The quality of this chapter may not be the best, but it's something I wrote in bits and pieces, so I hope to smooth it out in the rewrite. Anyway, I hope you enjoy it, and have a lovely week!
          
          Also, for the reviews, I'll try to get as much out as possible by the end of the week!

@TeodoraTheScholar I don’t have very detailed outlines, but I do tend to create the big-pictures ones. That’s a great idea, though. Knowing what to write can be a great motivator in and of itself. Thanks for the input! <3

That's great news. Also, a piece of wisdom from someone, who's been completing writing assignments since forever: if you don't know what to write, expand your outline (or create one if you don't have it). Once you start tempering with the outline, you will end up writing. It's a hack from a professor of mine, and somehow it works for both fiction and anything else.
