TRIGGER WARNING...
          
                  These past few days have been hard...very hard. Not because I had another mental breakdown, not because I got a bad grade, not because my day was bad, but because no one is speaking up.
                      About three weeks ago, in one of the states in India, UP, there was an incident that left me shook, so much so that I didn't find the words to bring it out to anyone till now. I was still in shock, very emotional and in denial of what had happened, of how someone was capable of being such a monster.
          
                  A 19 year old girl, a practical child, was raped by four full grown males and left in a state that was worse than death. Her tongue was scratched and cut off, and her spine, broken. Her family was poor, they couldn't get treatment in time, nonetheless, that strong girl gave her statement to the cops in a state of hell. Due to improper medical treatment, she passed away a few days later...
          
                  Now I'm sure all of you sensible people would think that there would have been something that was done against this....to you I say, you have a very kind soul.
              
             The police, to save those four 'hotshots' cremated the girl's body in a field at midnight, without her parent's consent to destroy evidence against the four.
          
          SHE WAS A CHILD.
          
          I wasn't going to post this, i am because this is the only 'social media' I have and I want everybody to know that NO MALE I KNOW HAS SPOKEN UP ABOUT THIS ON THEIR SOCIALS. My girls are doing so much to spread the word, but all my guy friends are suddenly not online anymore. When we discuss this on our groups, they are quiet. WHY ARE THEY QUIET? WHY CAN THEY SPEAK ABOUT THE POLITICS BUT NOT THIS.
          
          All I know is that She was a human and She deserved to be treated like one.
