so basically this may be a slight spoiler but i was originally gonna make aliya pregnant that will lead to a few different storylines/other dialogue in scrub caps
however, i’ve seen a few comments about people not wanting aliya to be preggo, and others saying they’d like her to be !!
& because i really do like to hear what you think (and i’m very very indecisive), pls let me know what you’ll prefer !!

It’s completely your decision it’s your book you should write whatever you want to write but I would absolutely love if she got pregnant I would love to see how Jackson is with her and the baby and I would love to see her as a mom and Molly as a grandmother and I think it would really heal her inner child plus I would like to see what happens with the plan crash and that as well

@aanatomy darling, i would love a jaliya baby! i'm all for those storylines, but at the end it's your decision. but, i definitely think giving them a storyline similar to mer's miscarriage during the shooting because of the plane crash and stuff would be great. but, then again, please, the storyline of the OI with april and trent would be, i dunno, like great, because apes would go to the army and without army april we wouldn't have riggs, and without riggs, we wouldn't have a shit ton more of stuff. but, then again, it's your fanfic. but, it would be so freaking interesting to see molly as a grandmother more in depth (we haven't seen her as much with trent's kid) and eliana as an aunt. i would also love to see uncle alex and auntie summer! and then, of course, i would love to see aliya as a mom! i think it would heal a lot of her childhood traumas and it would let her have a fresh slate in her life. ooh and imagine naming her kid after andy! that would be so amazing. also, i don't know why, but as i was writing this i got flashbacks from 9x20n when mer and cristina talk about who should get custody of the kids if she and derek were to die. then again, i would love to see more neurosurgeon (bc let's be honest aliya is gonna be the next head of neuro i just know it) moms! amelia was and is such an amazing mom to scout and definitely, i would love to see it! but, for the love of god and everything that is good and holy, please, PLEASE, don't break jaliya up! please, please, please, don't do it! but, then, it's up to you! will be waiting patiently for the next chapter of scrub caps in the meantime, dear! (you've created my fan fic safe space)

i’m currently editing the angst portion of act two of scrub caps (chapter twenty six to chapter thirty four) because some of it has been bothering me for a while!! i changed the name of chapter twenty six to “we’re modern idiots” because i also changed jackson and aliya’s argument scene at the end of that chapter and the two of them are lowkey giving modern idiots!

i fear mer should keep it but i think it would be so sweet if her & aliya had a moment about it. like maybe aliya found it & gives it to mer & says like “he’d want you to have it” or something along those lines & they have like a cute sister moment idk
