I've been trying to tell ONE story for more than a decade now. It's not my life story, as my life's a fairly average one. This is a much bigger story in a place I could never visit, populated by people I would never meet. Looking back at all the old notebooks I filled planning and writing and rewriting, and all the hours I spent as an armchair anthropologist, journalist, spy, double-agent, archivist, explorer, clerk, and scholar in that world, I realize that this story is so important to me that it needs to be told with skill. I need to be a better writer in order to give justice to the story. The only way to find out if I'm any good as a storyteller is to share this story to a community of readers and writers, in hopes that some of them would help me see this story written and completed.

Welcome to a world in the verge of dystopia.

"Verge of Dystopia" is a work in progress.

Posted an updated A/N and Chapters 1.1 and 1.2 because there'll be people coming from The Strays Book Club. I'm happy and scared. Happy and scared is good.
