@livethelifeyoulove_   I am so pleased that you are enjoying my story Songs for Tamar.  I have used the framework of King David's life when he brings the Ark of the Covenant into Jerusalem until his death.  At the beginning, I place Tamar, her full brother Absalom, her half brother Amnon, Jonadab, and Jesse Ben Ezra.  Only the last character is fictional.
          
          Where the Bible has nothing to say, I have a lot, filling in things that could have happened during their lifetimes.
          
          Tamar lived three thousand years ago.  I hope that life was kind to her as I have been to her in fiction.
