SO... I feel I should apologize for the wayyy too long break I took. I don't know how many people actually read my work but people commented and asked when updates were coming and I just kept pushing it back. No fear though, because I am officially posting again.
During the time since my last chapter update, I finished my first year of college which was way more crazy than anticipated (thanks COVID) and started going back and reading books I liked when I was younger. I've always like writing because I liked reading, and I wanted to make my own stories. When I got into my most recent reading slump, I kept putting my writing off again and again. Now that I remember why I like reading, I'm feeling way more confident in my writing abilities (well, as much as I can).
I put a note on the title of Ebony Sky saying that it was temporarily on hold because personally I hate when I start a book unaware that it hasn't been updated in a long while. I do plan to post another chapter, and I have a due date for that chapter in my calendar. I'll also hopefully be going through the old chapters and correcting any possible mistakes.
I know that I said I was going to focus only on Ebony Sky last time I posted, but I've been really excited about a new story idea I had for a book called Dear Love. I posted the Prologue yesterday, and I already have the first few chapters ready to go. My plan is to try and write a chapter a day, alternating between books each day. I won't post them as soon as I finish them either, which is what I used to do. This way I'll take the time to make any needed changes before I post it.
