I thought I was getting better but ive gone down hill again with my health :(  
          
          I usually love writing but I havent got the energy or motivation to do even the basic things so I apologise for a lack of updates, ive already had 2 weeks off work and cant afford to take any more time off so im having to go in sick and its exhausting 
          
          Hope everyone's having a better 2026 than i am!

Oh honey I’m sorry :((( there’s nothing to apologize for, you come first always yknow? Don’t listen to anyone who says otherwise. I’m so sorry it’s not stuff you can work from home on - going into work when you’re sick and down definitely makes you more exhausted and I’m sorry you have to go through that

@dear_kaybug I could get signed off for more weeks but my role is quite broad as I work admin in a school and I dont want to leave all that on the rest of the ladies in the office as we're stressed enough as a department :( also I have a part in finance that means I cant even get the work done from home so i'm just trying to hang on until half term!

@abluejayyyy Hey Jay, this sounds very concerning! Surely they should allow you paid time off since you are so sick? Maybe if you went back to the hospital they could extend your 2 weeks. I really hope you are able to find yourself in a better situation! Working while sick will surely make you even more so :(

Sorry for not updating any books, im really ill at the minute and have been signed off work 2 weeks with chest, sinus and throat infection which i had to go hospital for to be put on steroids and a nebuliser, which should have helped but it doesnt seem to have lasted. 
          
          I want to write, I promise, I just have 0% energy right now

I had the flu that turned into a sinus infection and a chest infection. 
           
          I have antibiotics but they are making me feel sick. When will this suffering end

@abluejayyyy Oh no, sorry to hear that! hope you can feel better soon, getting the flu already sucks, way worse when it doubles up with other things tho :(
