I am starting a short story for my Critical Thinking about Great Ideas final. It is supposed to follow along Dennis Ford's "The Search for Meaning: A Short History," but with a plot as the book in nonfiction. It will be going quickly, but I would appreciate any feedback you are able to give.
You don't need to have read Ford's book to understand most of the plot. For the most part, I just want opinions.
@whatcatydidnext Hee hee. Thanks for being understanding! I'm actually on winter break after my first semester of college, so I have time to relax for the first time in four months. Maybe I'll get it done before I go back to school on the seventh.
Blimey, that was quick!
It's OK, I do that sometimes too. I've just had to apologise for not 'liking' a story I'm following, for some reason I thought I had voted, but what can I say, I'm old...
@whatcatydidnext I actually had it in before, but then I read it without commenting on it like I told you I would previously. Once I get enough time to actually sit down and look through the chapters, I'll read it again. I enjoyed it the first time, so I'm sure it'll be good the second time, too.
@gogogirly10 I'm in my first year of college, so I don't have much time to write, but feel free to read what I have posted. Maybe you'll like it. Tell me if the romance/timeline of the story is believable - I've never experienced romance myself in real life, so I just mix and match and juxtapose what I've read, heard, or seen.
@whatcatydidnext I haven't read it yet, but I'll get to it eventually. I'll tell you when I'm done. Do you want me to make comments on chapters? I can do that if you want me to, as long as you don't mind my grammar OCD.
