finally got approved for an archive of our own (AO3) account, so I will be in the process of cross-posting Entropy there. don't fret, dear wattpad readers, as I will still be updating the story here, and will likely be updating both stories at the same time. now, off to figure out how AO3 works because it's super confusing to me haha

feeling down and out today. had an opportunity to do a little self-discovering with a short story contest and i thought for sure my story would get recognized because I poured my heart and soul into it. it’s not really the fact that I didn’t place, it’s just that this was an opportunity for me to figure out if I should switch my career to being an author at least part time. this has kind of put me into a low mood I guess, but if you all want to read it, here’s a link: https://libguides.utk.edu/nanowrimo/winners2021 My story is titled “Deception”, any feedback would be greatly appreciated!

@abraxanluvr please please PLEASE upload the full version to Wattpad! That story was really good! And just because you didn’t place doesn’t mean you didn’t do well. Keep submitting entries to different competitions and learn from each one and not only will you see improvement, but you’ll get more recognition too!

Thank you so much, it means a lot to me to have feedback/comments. I was a bit disappointed with the word limit, and I actually couldn’t end the story the way I wanted to. I’ve been thinking of revising what I have and uploading the full version onto Wattpad for everyone to see :)

hello my lovelies! i have a question for everyone—i have written a short story and submitted it to a short story writing contest here at my university. we were given a prompt, we wrote a story between 1000-1500 words, but i slightly exceeded it and still didn’t get everything i wanted into it. would you want me to publish it as is with its placing (if it places this thursday) or revise it? or both? please lmk in this announcement, everyone’s feedback is greatly appreciated

Happy birthday! Thanks for being awesome and enduring my ramblings from time to time! Welcome to adulthood (it's weird that parents and teachers treat us like children when we're still seventeen, but the minute we're eighteen it's like "okay time to make big person decisions", like yikes that's a lot of responsibility). Aww thank you! (For some reason I’m just now seeing this message) You’re so right, I’ve made a couple of decisions already and it’s WEIRD lol. I don’t really feel like an adult though tbh
