Funny story (maybe more funny-weird than funny-haha)...
I share an apartment with one of my sisters. She spends more time on Skype with friends she met through Second Life. Now they have moved on to Minecraft and YouTube and streaming movies together. Anyway, she's been a short fiction/fanfic reader, writer, and editor for years. I don't know what she writes about, and I don't particularly care.
The other day she was commenting about some grammatical errors in a story she was reading. When she was done, she said, "I don't know if there's any Impractical Jokers fanfic." I told her there certainly was, and she said, "Do yourself a favor; don't read any of it." When I asked her why not, she only said that it would ruin the show for me.
I've read tons and still love the show. I still love The Tenderloins. Mostly I still love Sal Vulcano! I don't know if she thought I wouldn't be able to separate the real guys with their fan fictional versions. Or, maybe she thought I couldn't handle the inevitable pairings between friends, such as "Murcano" or "Vulgatto" or "VulQuinn". Whatever her reasoning, she was wrong.
