When you clarify a small detail in your story and then have to go back through EVERYTHING to edit for what that clarification effects. Lol. #iamwriting #quollwriter

          	The silver lining? I've made minimal headway on bday. Not enough that I'll be posting to it yet, but progress is progress. 3k words total, thus far. It will eventually be renamed as well. Maybe I'll just go for the heroine's name. #mullingover

          	I'm up to 7 uber-short chapters. Might be more apt to call them segments. Did I tell y'all the only reason it was posted was because I thought it was going to be a humorous little beach read that would be easy to bang out? Yeah...grand intentions. The story had a different idea about all that.

          	Happy Easter, y'all--if you're so inclined.

@abymae I know exactly what you mean. I had someone share with me that 2k is good chapter length... so don't always stress over word count

Hello Abymae, would you mind checking out my romance book BLUES?

raghdanezzat

@raghdanezzat what about the stats?
Reply

abymae

@raghdanezzat no. I meant 'another read' as far as the stats for the story.

          It gets a bit "God" towards the end--in case that makes you squeamish. I personally would rework a few points, but overall this is a great piece that every teeny-bopper should breathe in and conceptualize.

          The stories on wattpad are just that--stories. Fabulous escapes into other pseudo-realities. Real life *rarely* functions like the stories or movies. It can be down right shitty. Relationships take work and effort from BOTH parties; continually.

          Choices have consequences; take responsibility for yours and suck it up when necessary. That being said, toxicity and abuse do not a relationship make. I'll step down from my soapbox so I can go snuggle up on my husband. <3

Thanks for helping me find all the typos in my late chapter of the Monarch. I appreciate you reading it and pointing them out. Hugs

abymae

@steamyhot you are welcome. I'm happy to be helpful anytime as long as it's not misconstrued as anything but the best intentions of helping.

            As a general practice I don't earmark everything I come across like I did a few hours ago. I tend to only do a few each chapter, typically things that were obviously sounded out or obviously tinkered with by autocorrect. Or, they're the ONLY typos. I believe I previously mentioned that I totally understand how things get when you've stared at your own work too long that you don't see the glaring bits right under your nose--an extra pair of fresh eyes is usually helpful. #grin
