So I've getting some suggestions about the each chapter's word count. Because of my excitement to share with you the story of The West Sea, I tend to get 'overly zealous' typing every scene.

So with that in mind I've divided Chapter 3 and will be continuing the following chapters with at the very least around 1000-1500 words (Which will be around 5-6 min of reading time, give or take) so as not to swamp the readers :) Thank you all for your support! Next week's Chapter 12: La Guardia, will be ready soon. Have a nice day!

Author here! So what made me write The West Sea? Well, to start off, I've never been a fan of the current state of affairs in my country, let alone have the moral fortitude to voice out my concerns in public. Instead I've been imagining a new, different reality where a country, very much like my own, had defended its territory and made use of its resources. A nation united in support of protecting what was rightfully theirs. As you can see, I imagine a lot of implausible things. But it does make you wonder what it would've felt like to be so optimistically patriotic to a cause so great that it would unite a nation and move forward into the future. Well, it's great to imagine these things, that's why I'm currently writing this novel. Thanks again for the support!
