hi, queen. just wanted to let you know how much you've inspired me to start writing. 
          
          skin and bone was the first book i read by you. i clicked on it thinking nothing of it but i was surprised to see how beautifully the book was written (i cried until my head hurt lol). i loved how you were able to describe such indescribable emotions. it felt as if i was living through harry's grief. i love that and it made me want to do something like that too.
          
          i feel like i've had the potential for writing for so long but i'd never taken the chance. after reading your book, i definitely want to pursue writing.

          the final battle was honestly really good, i loved how HUGE they made the mind flayer. but the way it took damage from bullets was weird, and i don’t like how in the upside down there were just NO demodogs or the bats or other things?? it didn’t feel dangerous enough. i do like the ending w vecna because his death felt ‘human’, which is a trope i love — like in the hp books, when voldemort is trying to be anything other than human but he dies like a human anyway.
          
          i get if el died, but if the military thinks she’s dead then why not make contact w the group again lol 
          
          i would’ve really liked more closure with henry’s origins tho. like who that guy he killed in the cave was and why henry was even down there in the first place etc.
          
          will being a sorcerer was so cool too and a really great reveal!!! 
          
          overall, i feel bittersweet!! the finale felt a lot like a sign off from the cast which i understand but it felt like they leaned too much into that and forgot about the tone of the story itself, idk.

Your writing has made me cry so many times. I didn’t cry during the entire original Harry Potter series or really reading a book ever. You are an amazing author.
