Does anyone know how to sew? I found a patch and I wanted to put it on one of his jackets and now there’s a little rip and I found some needle and thread but i donno how to sew

first pull not a huge amount of thread but a generous amount — you don’t wanna end up not having enough — and cut it off of the little thread thing lol. then you wanna stick one side through the hole of the needle and you wanna make sure that there’s two sides of thread, so you can tie the ends. if you don’t tie the ends then it’ll all just pass through the fabric with no stitch
