          I hope everyone is having a lovely holiday season so far, and on this last day of 2024, I just wanted to express my sincerest gratitude and appreciation. The biggest highlight of this year for me was definitely finishing An Eye for an Eye and being able to turn it into something I can be proud of, but it wouldn't have been possible without you all. 
          
          To my readers, thank you so much for every interaction and your endless support and encouragement. And thank you for being patient and putting up with my clown shoes update schedule and my constantly rotating hyperfixations lol. I know I haven't properly committed to the dozen fics I float around lol but I promise I'll get to them so thank you for expressing interest and keeping me motivated <33
          
          I have met such lovely people on this platform and this has really turned into a safe space for me that has gotten me through rough times. Every single one of you mean the world to me and it has been my honour to have gotten to know some of you <3

          OC: Akari Mizuno
          Hero Name: Supernova 
          Quirk: Photokinesis 
          Age: 23 
          Lore dump: Akari is a test tube baby, her quirk/existence is a result of scientific manipulation, and her entire life is basically one giant longitudinal study on whether quirks can be man-made and how long those creations actually survive (they don't, she's dying). Usage of her powers causes internal and external radiation burns and she is highly photosensitive (major drawback since her quirk is literally light manipulation). She has vertical pupils to protect her retinas (must wear sunglasses/goggles even indoors), and her eyes glow in the dark. 
          
          Very morose, with a mild temperament, has been dyeing her hair green since she was a teen, just to annoy her mum. Mum's all about putting on appearances, and Akari's goth child persona does not fit in with the fact that she's supposed to be the sunshine pro-hero lol. 
          
          She is less girl and more paradox, the antithesis of herself. 
          
          Love interest: Dabi/Toya Todoroki 
          They trauma bond over their quirks slowly killing them and hating their families. She was in his class in middle school and his neighbour before he ran off, but then he becomes a villain and she's a hero (reluctant) so rip, yet another doomed ship by me
