trust my fanfics will be updated now y'all, i got a new laptop

finally got out another chapter of in cold light!!! sorry for the giant wait, my laptop is fucked right now, and i can't get a new one at the moment. but i'm going to be trying to update more frequently!! i'll also try to get out a new chapter of children of the empire soon!!! 

guys im finally climbing out of the trenches (writers block) the last time i actually wrote something before today was june eighth but now im back with an update for children of the empire because i saw yalls comments asking me to update (jk i love writing and i do appreciate every single comment i get)

guys... being graduated is fucking weird. what do i do now that i'm not bound by the confines of high school? like i don't know what do with myself. and the fact is i'm an adult now is even stranger??? like i want some kfc, i'm tired and want to take a nap, i want to get out another chapter. i don't know what the hell is going on, like ever.

no because the amount of sexualization that finnick odair given is actually sickening. the issue isn't in people finding him attractive, it's fine if you do. plus, it's an actor that people find good looking, that's not the problem. the problem is a majority of people completely ignore his entire backstory, his trauma, his writing, and just the overall complexity of his fucking character. again, you're allowed to think he's hot or whatever, but acting like he's not the way he is for a certain reason is completely fucking disgusting. so many finnick stans/fans choose to ignore what he's been through in favor of making lustful comments about him. he was prostituted against his will at fourteen and put through utter hell by the capitol. so many people can only focus on his looks, and it makes me so upset and angry because he's so much more than that. he is one of the best written characters when it comes to topics of sexual assault, and as a survivor of it myself, it literally fills me with so much rage. like he is such a meaningful character, he has so many good traits, he's loyal, honest, kind. his character arc was never just him being snobby and egotistical. his arc was him going from putting on a facade, not only for him as a person, but to protect the ones he loved, to a man who exposed snow for who he really was, not only for himself, but for the rebellion, and for the tributes that were being tortured by the capitol. he was so utterly selfless in so many ways, that it's impossible to look at him and think he's a bad character. he has been through so much, all for the sake of something bigger than himself. i mean, he was sold as what is basically a sex worker for god knows how many fucking years, to protect mags, and to protect annie. he deserves more than to be sexualized every chance you guys get. like, seriously? get a fucking grip and think about what you're going to say before it comes out of your mouth. it's actually disgusting, and y'all need to stop.
