i have been nominated (on this account, wow) for may author of the month (by ara, which is really shocking because ara is one of my favorite people ever, but i doubt she knows it) and it would mean so much, if someone were to vote for me!
all you have to do, is click the link: http://www.wattpad.com/17173783-may-2013-voting#comments
and comment my ridiculously difficult to spell user!
now obviously i'm not going to win, because practically everyone nominated is famous, fantastic, & amazing authors, but still it'd mean the world to me to have someone vote for me.
i love you guys so much!
p.s.: expect ch.3 of "alive" to be posted today if that's any motivation. and maybe also something else c:

Sorry, Wattpad's been weird lately. Ack. I feel terrible for being late.

Woah thanks so much. You really did look it up. Coolies.
           Wow it sounds really amazing.
I shall find time to read it. And money to buy the book first lol. Again, thank you for looking it up for me ^^

it's another dystopian trilogy, only with factions. i'll look for the summary online: In Beatrice Prior’s dystopian Chicago world, society is divided into five factions, each dedicated to the cultivation of a particular virtue—Candor (the honest), Abnegation (the selfless), Dauntless (the brave), Amity (the peaceful), and Erudite (the intelligent). On an appointed day of every year, all sixteen-year-olds must select the faction to which they will devote the rest of their lives. For Beatrice, the decision is between staying with her family and being who she really is—she can’t have both. So she makes a choice that surprises everyone, including herself.

During the highly competitive initiation that follows, Beatrice renames herself Tris, and struggles alongside her fellow initiates to live out the choice they have made. Together, they must undergo extreme physical tests of endurance and intense psychological simulations, some with devastating consequences. As initiation transforms them all, Tris must determine who her friends really are—and where, exactly, a romance with a sometimes-fascinating, sometimes-exasperating boy fits into the life she’s chosen. But Tris also has a secret: one she’s kept hidden from everyone, because she’s been warned it can mean death. And as she discovers unrest and growing conflict that threatens to unravel her seemingly-perfect society, she also learns that her secret might be what helps her save those she loves . . . or it might be what destroys her.
^ that's kind of really long but it's straight from the author.
haha thank you! it took me at least an hour to do agh, but it was worth it c:

Yes, exactly. What keeps it so memorable is that it makes you think, "that can happen someday." It's realistic yet pure fiction. I stayed up all night finishing the two books because I found it hard to stop. What I liked most of all is the idea of the Hundreds (hundred paintings etc.) because they're real. Like what you said, it's part of the real world stuff. And I wish I can read the third book soon. :)

          that sucks :/
i don't believe so, sorry, didn't mean for it to sound like she did. i just love how she can create such an involved plot, and dystopian society, and then add in the real world stuff that she did, like the do not go gentle poem. it's an incredible and controversial series that definitely makes you put your thinking cap on! c:
