@tameangst    ⅋͟/:        it’s not supposed to be.  it could have been better,  if you didn’t try and cover this up..   (   it could almost be picked up as a joke,  which it was..  for the most part.  trying to lighten the mood,  not the easiest to do in a situation like the one at hand.  he was angry,  irritated that jason refused to tell him about his wound.  but it was easy for anyone,  especially tristan,  to see that his brother was beating himself up over what had happened more than anyone else.  so with that,  he refrained from going on about how he truly felt about it.  the now bloodied cloth was set aside,  replaced with the disinfectant wipes which had been long kept in griffins handy first—aid kit.  using these to gently wipe at the skin,  hopefully doing more work than water and fabric did.  this would surely fight more.  )  i don’t..  want to be leader.  it’s your job now,  and you can’t let one minor setback change your entire perspective of it.  —you did more than i could have done with what happened.  you didn’t stop us,  but you..  went with us to help.  it’s not all your fault.  and for the most part?  you’re an ..alright leader,  i suppose.  now you have something to learn from.  —trust me,  jace,  i’ve never wanted to slap you harder in my entire *life*..  i’d just rather you didn’t die on us.  tell the others about this,  i’ll strangle you until your eyes pop out. 

sounds like the furthest thing from a good time.   (   his best efforts were put towards staying still while his brother cleaned the blood from his wound,   determined to stay in place long enough for the job to be finished efficiently.   if the task was prolonged,   or done incorrectly,   it would be more work for them both in the long run.    even more work,   at that.   considering the job had to be redone start to finish now.  )     it doesn’t matter if you guys wanted to.   as your [leader] it was up to me to stop you,    and guide you in the right direction.   all i did was lead us into a bunch of danger,    and now jojo’s out of commission because of it.    —maybe i [should’ve] let you be leader,   i dunno. @tameangst     ⅋͟/:       i’m gonna have to clean the blood,  then wipe it down completely with some disinfectant.  —we can tighten the stitches from there,  and finish the whole thing up.   (   he was trying his best to be gentle with the cleaning,  as much as he wanted to make sure that it was done properly..  there was no need to put jason in more pain than he undoubtedly already was.  yet,  this was a job that needed to be finished.  with enough care and procedure,  they could get it healed to the full extent.  which was all tristan wanted.  the boy would never dare to say it out loud,  so he showed it in his actions  —as hard as they may be to pick up.  )   if it helps..   we all wanted to go up there.  and it’s not like we left you with much of a choice.  we weren’t —exactly ready,  to deal with it.  all of us have a part to play in taking the blame.  —i’ll keep quiet about this,  so long as you never do it again.  i’ll give you a slash to match this one if you do.  got it?
