Since you decided to continue your story “a dusty nightmare” I wonder if you might use a character known as metallic who in Sonic sprite animations is the ultimate evolution of metal sonic who surpasses neo metal sonic and is so powerful it require Sonic and shadow to fuse and defeat him.
