First, hello, hi, how are all of you? I have a cold and I really need this year to give me a break because I have gone through the wringer. 
          
          Okay, so two things, one with writing, one with not. 
          
          First, writing. Has anyone read the DarkVerse Series by RuNyx? (I'm rereading it rn, and I fricking love this series so much, I'm rereading it before I finally read The Syndicater) and I'm on my fav book rn (the third) and I was wondering if anyone would be interested in a story inspired by that book? It's basically childhood friends/acquaintances to lovers. 
          
          Two, I have like 2 friends who read, but both are in reading slumps, so I was wondering if anyone would want to join a book club if I created it. And if so, where would you want it? discord is the best option, I think, but I'm open to suggestions.

Working on Love Under the Rodeo Lights, so here's a sneak peek at a future scene: 
          
          "No, fuck no Hannah," Ari's chest is rising so fast I fear he may pass out. "I've worked my ass off to have you, I refuse to let you walk the fuck out right now." 
          
          "I have to; you knew I was leaving." 
          
          There's an eerie silence, and maybe I was hoping for this, maybe I was hoping to see how serious he was with me. Or maybe I was sabotaging this because having someone in my corner after being alone for so long was something I wasn't used to. Or perhaps I had no idea how I was feeling. Leaving Idaho, leaving Ari, and having the excuse to return to Texas for my brother made it easy to run. 
          
          "You are happy here, Hannah." Ari crosses the space, cupping my face and forcing me to look up into those blue, blue eyes. "You've become a different person since you've been here. I've become a different person since you've been here." 
          
"Then I was successful on my assignment." 
          
          Ari just arched an eyebrow, "Don't give me that shit baby." 
          
          "I have to go back for my brother." 
          
          "Stop sacrificing your life for everyone fucking else Hannah," Ari said as he let go of my face, stepping away from me and I felt my heart stop. “Enjoy your flight back to Houston.” 
          
          And with that, he turned on his heel, leaving me alone in the pasture.
