the way some people write poc characters is genuinely baffling. i don’t know what’s worse: writing non poc characters every single time because apparently you can’t identify the character (which is weird, and hypocritical, but that’s another conversation), or using poc faceclaims just because you find them pretty and failing altogether to portray them correctly. because i assure you, not all black women are "baddies" or come from broken households or whatever, poc have range too.

idk what i’ll do when i’ll get to 1k, but best believe that i’ll open my drafts vault (ra’s fic staring at me rn) and bring back forgotten books like war of tides. TRUST!
