i’m so sad about jonghyun’s passing. i hope he is finally truly happy. he deserved so much more than what he got and i wish he had someone to talk to about his depression. it’s so sad that idols have to put on a fake smile and make everything seem okay on camera when they’re really depressed. korea really needs to open its eyes to mental illnesses such as depression and actually take it seriously. that’s why korea has one of the highest suicide rates in the world; because they don’t take mental illness seriously. if any and i mean ANY of you feel that way, please talk to me or someone. anyone. you don’t deserve to bottle it up inside and hope it passes. my thoughts and prayers go out to his family, friends, SM, shinee, and jonghyun himself. he is truly happy now and in a much better place.
