I am a new writer... I started writing a couple of months ago when my seizures appeared into my life. To know a little bit about me, I am 18 years old and I have ongoing medical issues stemming from brain injury a few years back. In my darkest moments, I turn to writing about how I feel or the complete opposite; writing about inspiring things impacting my life.  Through this journey, I have met the most incredible and inspiring people including my best friend/sister whom I dedicated this book of poetry for. To help with the writing essentials of poetry, I met one of my friends who is a poet as well named Olivia. She is mentioned in this first edition of my book and she is one of the main reasons as to why I do what I do.  Without my illness and my best friend, Karolina, who is by my side constantly, I would not be on this adventure to write; let alone write a poetry book. I aspire to be an ESL teacher one day to help immigrants make their transition a little bit easier as they find their way here in America. And if the question happens to be asked, yes... Karolina is very Polish :)
