there's that same dream again about her — but this time, it felt so lively.⠀⠀felt euphoric,⠀and addictive.⠀⠀one would covet to stay,⠀it is far too tempting..⠀⠀like his dream was luring him into something.
everything seemed normal.⠀⠀the house,⠀their children.⠀then her-⠀teruko.⠀⠀the mage shifts to her side,⠀a dull look taking place.⠀⠀“stop it.⠀⠀stop fooling me.. teruko.“⠀⠀he begs,⠀head hung low and nestled by her shoulder.⠀⠀it wasn't her to begin with, yet it had always been there despite what's happened.

@astravinity "hey, do you not remember that i said crying is not a pretty look on you?" the spirit gently humours as she reaches up to wipe the falling clear droplets off of their face, the touch almost like a feather, a breeze from the wind. "of course, even when you made those difficult decisions, i was always there with you. and do not blame yourself, aiden. it was destined to happen, my death. i am glad you are alive, at the very least." she gently soothes the mage, stroking their chopped hair gently as she smiles fondly down at him.

hearing her voice sounds angelic,⠀and…⠀⠀has it truly been that long—?⠀⠀he questions this in his mind.⠀⠀distracted, but the tears just won't stop faltering do they?⠀⠀“you've always been here,⠀with me?“⠀⠀he asks once again to confirm,⠀⠀almost desperate where he turns to face her.⠀⠀“i'm sorry.. ⠀back then, i should've known..⠀i was supposed to protect you and yet..“⠀⠀breathes shallow,⠀chest already begun to heave out of recalling such an event.⠀⠀he will never forget that vision he saw,⠀⠀how..⠀sickening it felt, too.

@astravinity a sanctuary, one may call it. yet, it was more like a hell hiding itself behind the cover of a heavenly dream. if only their future was as they wished it to be. so surreal and peaceful, as if they could relish in each other's comfort for eternity. the spirit of the girl sparkled within the grasp of her lover's arms, a small and pitiful smile dawning her lips as she embraces him, pulling him into her chest. "aiden. i have always been watching over you and our children. do not cry, my love."
