⠀ ⠀ odessa tilts her head up to the inky night, eyes shining with the dazzling stars. “ the stars seems to shine brighter tonight. ” the fae muses, filling the comfortable silence between them. dull silence always made them anxious, but tonight, with him, they find themself enjoying it.
⠀ ⠀ the gardens remain quiet and empty, everyone gathered in the ballroom except for the two. they steal a glance from the corner of their eyes, gaze landing on his features glowing ever so gently despite the nighttime. then odessa’s eyes flick down to his had and suddenly, overcome with a bravery she thought she forgotten, she softly brushes the back of hers against his. eyes retreating back to the sky as color began to crawl to her cheeks.

@fawneyes !! a hum of approval whips from his lips , arms behind his back as he looked up at the sky. he rarely looked up , for he always looked down on the world below him -- but he'll allow himself such a miniscule gesture for now . his body tenses for a brief moment , sensing the woman touch him , but he does not draw his hand back, he instead leans to grip it in his strong hand , surprisingly soft if anything " if you wish to hold my hand , do so with confidence " he reassures her , golden eyes covered by the veil gazing towards her. she may look st the stars , but to him, the brightest star was her . " did i ever tell you how beautiful you are under the night ? it makes me want to whisk you away to my domain "
