hey guys! 
          
          so, surprise! rebellion is out now, with the very unconventional love interest of coriolanus snow. the story is technically still coming soon, but i was just too excited about the book and i've already been holding off the first chapter for a while now, so i thought to just publish the first chapter as a summer treat! (but let's be real, the treat is for me, too.)
          
          as for updates on my other stories... they're coming, but so, so slowly. i'm working this summer and it has nothing to do with writing, so i've had to find time. i've been finding it, but... well, it'll take some time.
          
          thank you all for your support despite my hectic updates, and i hope you all enjoy rebellion as much as i've loved writing it!

          how long has it been since my last update? almost a year now? firstly, i'd like to apologize, but i promise you, the next chapter of "destiny" is coming soon. i've also been working on a couple of new stories, but i've just been a bit busy with school.
          
          secondly, i'm excited to announce the launch of my personal website! i've been working on it for approximately forever, and originally, i used wix.com to design it. however, over the last year, i've learned how to code and aerithmorgenstern.com is now live for everyone to see! you guys can see a sneak peek at stories i'm (hopefully) planning on releasing, my currently on-going stories and the websites they've been posted on, and, of course, my old graphic gallery page. what a journey i've come with those.
          
          my socials are all linked as well, and if any of you guys decide to check it out, i'm excited to hear what you guys think! as i have more time, there's a good chance i'll make the page even better, but for now, i think it's quite good for an author :)

          i just wanted to say that i've given it some thought and, for now, "secrets" will be put on hold. it's mainly because my motivation for it has died right now, and part of the reason for that is... well, i didn't particularly like season three. it was fine, except for allison and klaus. i feel like the writers kind of threw allison and klaus' character developments down the drain.
          
          the other reason is because, to be honest, my attention span is the same as that of a squirrel. i've been tackling such big projects that, to avoid it, i've been choosing a thousand different projects, all just as daunting. would you guys believe me if i said that currently, i'm working on about ten different stories?
          
          ha. ha. not.
          
          anyway, sorry to disappoint any of my avid "secrets" fans, but really, i need to put it on hold. this isn't to say i won't ever come back to it, because i definitely will, and honestly, it's basically already been on hold, but saying it formally relieves a lot of my stress.
          
          thank you all for understanding, and, if you wanted to know what new project i'm working on, here's a clue: i'm not team jacob or team edward.

          i realize that i've been doing this a lot, and i just never addressed it, but to any of my old readers: you'll probably notice that my updating schedule is absolutely horrible. i'm not sure why i'm like this, but i just completely lose steam after the first few chapters and kind of just lost interest in the story a little bit afterward—especially when its with such a big project like TUA or PJO, and the whole daunting project ahead of me.
          
          anyway, i just wanted to apologize for my terrible updating schedule, and to tell you guys that i'm working on the new chapter for both my TUA and PJO fan fictions, but writing has just been going so slowly. i have the idea, kind of; i just lack the motivation.
          
          also, i wanted to thank you guys. i can't believe i've hit the stats i've hit. it's incredible, and i love you guys so much for it.

          so if you haven't noticed, i haven't updated any of my stories in a long time. i've written the chapters, they're just sitting in my google drive and collecting dust, but yeah, i haven't been posting. and to the few of you that like my books, i feel like you guys deserve an explanation:
           
          i guess it wouldn't really be called "hate", but i've been getting some comments on some other websites about how percy's character kind of sucks. it's stupid to let myself care about what others think, i know, but i just can't help it. if i'm gonna be honest, i was actually proud of this book, because i had genuinely thought i had written percy to be an okay character, but the feedback i'm getting shows me that i had only reduced percy to a love interest and five as OOC.
           
          maybe i'll update soon, but... it's stupid, but I can't bring myself to update just yet—not if i'm just gonna get more hate for it, but i thought you guys deserved an explanation. hopefully i'll see you guys soon?
