To everyone who’s been asking about our fanfic story — my sister, @aestaekook98’s phone got broken, so we haven’t been able to continue writing for a while. But she’ll be getting a new phone very soon, and once that happens, we’ll resume working on our fanfic. Along with Captain Kim, we’ll also start another Taekook fanfic based on your requests.           I've been getting some DMs about our new story Captain Kim - Letters from 1881, so I want to clarify a few things for everyone.
          
          This story is set in the year 1881, and we've made the characters' ages realistic to fit their military ranks. Taehyung is a captain, and RM is a major, so their ages are around 30-35, which was the standard at that time. That's why they're older than others in the story-it's not random; it's for historical accuracy.
          
          As for the Taekook switch, it's based on the era-back then, being openly gay in the military wasn't accepted. So both act manly in public to avoid discrimination. It fits the story's setting and their roles.
          
          If it's not your style, please feel free to skip it. We appreciate respectful readers who understand our creative choices.
