An excerpt from my newest story "Opposite Ends":
          
          ∆
          
          "Back when I was in kindergarten, I used to get picked on because I was smart.
          
          Actually, no, that's when I began to get bullied. Nobody seemed to understand me. I was seen as a nerdy freak and nobody wanted to be friends with me. 
          
          It escalated in Grade 7 when a guy named Isaiah Sanders and three of his friends used to sit behind me in Math class and stick sticky notes to my back. They said nasty things on them such as "smutbag" and "tease". 
          
          The thing is, I never did anything with any guys so I didn't understand why I was the victim."
