Chapter 29: The Mad Countess
A little over 4 years ago.
Four young men on a small, sinking, rowboat fought against the odds. The vessel begged for the men to let it rest in the ocean’s bottom. A fiery mane and shaggy mophead rowed each side while, a dark haired young man in the middle of the two tried to help them, an oar in each hand while a salmon haired man took out the water leaking inside the barge with his bare hands.
It hadn’t been too long since they left The Red Sunflower to pursue their own ship and crew; Kyojuro didn’t accept to inherit his mentor’s ship. He had something else in his mind. A few minutes away from the port, a loud thud followed quickly by a forceful push that caught the sailors off guard.
