something I wanted to tell you:
while I love the community I’ve built on wattpad — and finding all of you here — it’s time for me to shift where I post certain things so I can share what I truly want to share. this isn’t me disappearing or leaving, just moving parts of my content to platforms that better fit my needs right now.
the user experience on wattpad just doesn’t match what I want for my work anymore, especially since I really value a space without ads or distractions. I did consider keeping things on ao3 for a while, but since original writing isn’t fully protected there (it’s mainly meant for fanworks), it didn’t feel like the right long-term home either. so for now, I’m building a place where I can share my writing properly — in a way that feels safe and true to what I’m doing.
I still want to share a window into my life with you, in a space with more functionality and features than wattpad allows. that’s why I’ve created a patreon, for more personal content like:
– long-form posts
– audio
– life updates
– behind-the-scenes writing notes
– shifting + mindset content
it’s where I’ll be able to talk more openly and share thoughts that need a smaller, more intentional, adults-only circle.
to clarify: the patreon will be 18+, not because of any nsfw content (there won’t be), but because I want these conversations to stay age-appropriate, grounded, and respectful.
it will also be paid — partly as an optional way to support me, and partly as a way to moderate who is seeing content I won’t be sharing elsewhere. supporting me there is entirely optional, and only if you’re interested in the more personal side rather than the work itself.
I’m not deleting my wattpad account; it’ll stay up with the links to where you can find me.
the direct link to patreon will be posted in my linktree.
whenever you’re reading this — thank you for being here.
this isn’t an ending; it’s the beginning of doing things in a way that feels better for me.
