˛ 𐙦 ͓̲ 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗳͟𝗶͟𝗲͟𝗿͟𝗰͟𝗲͟𝘀͟𝘁 ׅ⎖

seeing him sleep so soundly made estelle happy that he could trust her enough to be this vulnerable around.  with careful precision,  she made sure to massage in the areas that were especially tense in ivor's back,  leaving a few fleeting kisses in each spot to ease his slumbering state〝  you deserve to relax just as much as everyone else.  so just know that i'll always be here to take care of you when that time comes,  okay? ＂ her words held so much warmth as she idly traced a few shapes along the brunette's back

  ⠀།  ︲   ᆢ⠀ @onguards ，  in his slumber,  the breathing is shallow and calm.  the peaceful yet tired male didn't appear to budge just after the touch that briefed his cheek.  nor did her weight──it didn't perturb the mechanic by the slightest.  yet his muscles,  certainly did..  perhaps he shouldn't have overworked himself.

she was light to comment on,  only wanting the other to not face any severe repercussions for neglecting his own body.  that was until she noticed the slow deep breaths the mechanic was doing  —  her keenly being aware of his light snores as she remained straddling his back〝  you overworked yourself,  didn't you my love? ＂ she quietly asked,  not expecting a response as a metallic finger brushed along his cheek affectionately

a chuckle could be heard from her as the small avatar of ivor remained comfortably in her hold〝  it can't be much of a surprise anymore seeing that he's here.  now go on ＂ ivortar was then placed down onto the counter a small distance from the small elle,  with estelle giving him a gentle encouraging nudge〝  and she's adorable.  she looks so happy too ＂

  ⠀།  ︲   ᆢ⠀ @onguards ，  "  yeah!  it's a surprise for lil ivortar.  she looks so cute,  right?  "

〝  alright,  how about some chicken soup?  it'll help with your cold and allow you to comfortably eat something ＂ she suggested while giving ivor's hand a soft squeeze〝  then after that,  you'll take some more medicine and we can talk about whatever you'd like later on＂

  ⠀།  ︲   ᆢ⠀ @onguards ，  ivor is laid upon the plush bedding,  his lips can't help but curve at how sweetly concerned she was with his health. ⠀"  no...  i haven't thought about what i should be eating too.  "

〝  hm,  good ＂ was all she said in response to his compliance,  giving his cheek a chaste kiss to show she was satisfied with his answer.  upon entering the room,  she properly tucked ivor into his bed and gently brushed his bangs out of his eyes〝  have you had anything to eat yet? ＂

〝  hm,  alright.  if you insist ＂ came her reply,  seemingly content by being in the other's hold.  estelle's eyes,  not obscured by her visor,  stared at ivor in adoration before later burying her face against his chest〝  can you..  play with my hair,  please? ＂

@onguards ，⠀"  it's not like i was complaining..;;  " ⠀a half-hearted laugh,  ivor shifted slightly and brings his arms loosely around her waist. ⠀"  heavy?  no.  you're quite light to me!  don't you remember?  i came from a planet with more mass.  "

〝  would you rather i not be this way? ＂ she questioned with a small frown as her chin remained propped against ivor's chest〝  i can stop if i'm too heavy ＂

⠀⠀  ৎ ﹡    ៹⠀ @mechanim ꓹ ⠀ "  sshh⸺–  " ⠀hurriedly,  out of panic,  ivor's plan flies over to cover the mechanic's mouth.  orifices enlarged,  a quiet gesturing for him to..  remain quiet. ⠀"  haha yep..  something's wrong.  " ⠀he trailed off,  a casual lie to likely not raise any suspicion from other patrons.

〝  it was a drink i bought..  from nexus..  wanted to try it when i got back.. ＂  she replied while briefly closing her eyes.  the cool air from the fan felt nice,  but the visor around her eyes started to bother her,  prompting her to take if off〝  ivor..  am i sick..?  did i catch some sort of bug in my system without knowing..? ＂ she questioned,  worry beginning to build up in her disoriented mind as she tried to understand what was going on

⠀⠀  ৎ ﹡    ៹⠀ @onguards ꓹ ⠀ "  uh..  what exactly did you..  drink?  " ⠀gently grabbing her wrist,  the heat is felt immediately upon the contact.  another hand would take hold of the glass of liquor（?）she'd been downing. ⠀"   no,  i don't think so.  if you're gonna drink at least come and ask me,  'kay?  wait let me try and fix that..  " ⠀the moment he gently lifts her up in his,  he'd carry her all throughout the room and to settle down in front of a fan.  setting her onto her lap to let her cool naturally. ⠀"  shut down your systems.  no worries,  i got you.  "

estelle quietly commented despite still sipping away at the drink in her hands.  her head slightly swayed,  and her blinks were slow as she tried focusing on ivor〝  i think my systems are starting to overheat..  is that normal..? ＂

an amused chuckle was let out as she began to idly play with brunette's hand〝  you were telling me about how you coached a few racers,  remember? ＂ she reminded,  gently massaging at the other's palm that was in her grasp

⠀⠀  ৎ ﹡    ៹⠀ @onguards ꓹ ⠀ "  awh,  then..  i guess i'll continue yapping about my journey!  " ⠀he'd grin,  pleasantly so. ⠀"  oh,  where was i at again?  "

〝  you make for a great storyteller.  maybe you should write a book someday ＂ she suggested as a light joke while leaning her head against his shoulder with a smile〝  and i love your stories all the time.  i never get tired of them ＂

〝  hey,  you don't have to be sad for my sake.  it's really alright ＂ she reassured with a solemn smile.  taking ahold of a nacho,  she raised it so she could feed it to ivor〝  though there are times when i wish i could eat food like everyone else,  i'm fine with that not being the case if it means i can still live alongside you and the others ＂

⠀⠀  ৎ ﹡    ៹⠀ @onguards ꓹ ⠀ "  o–oh..  right,  i..  forgot about that.  " ⠀disheartened,  he'd look at the small box of nachos with a frown.（..）he was so excited too!  he completely forgot that she couldn't eat. ⠀"  if only you were able to..  "

estelle only stared at the box with a chuckle before shaking her head,  gently pushing the box back towards him instead〝  remember:  i can't eat actual food silly.  don't worry,  i'm alright with just watching you eat ＂

if she had an actual heart,  it would've metaphorically squeezed out of adoration because of ivor's kind words,  but the faint blush that formed onto her face had to be telling enough of how much his kindness effected her〝  if you're putting the effort to take care of me,  then it'd only be fair if i did the same for you ＂ an affectionate bump of her head against his was given〝  so you should tone it a bit down on working away so late into the night love.  i'd hate for you to get sick because you're not getting proper rest ＂

⠀⠀  ৎ ﹡    ៹⠀ @onguards ꓹ ⠀ his head is turned by the careful touch,  his frown still seen..  though it dissipates the moment he spoke. ⠀"  you know i can make time for you,  always.  you've never troubled me at all,  ever.  i swear..  " ⠀calloused hand topples over hers,  gently applying pressure. ⠀"  i appreciate how thoughtful that is..  but,  i want you to know that you're just as important.  heck,  even more important than my tasks.  so it's okay to rely on me..  i absolutely love taking care of you elle.  "

〝  oh,  don't be like that ivor ＂ she couldn't help but say with a soft chuckle at ivor's pouting features.  estelle walked over to him,  using a gloved hand to gently redirect his head so he properly faced her〝  i understand that.  but there are just days that i don't want to take up too much of your time,  especially if what you were currently doing required all your attention.  i just value and admire your work and would rather you focus on that instead of me is all ＂
