I know that a lot of people on here that follow struggle with anxiety or depression or both. So, I decided to share some things that help me. 
          
          1. Carry something on you that has a texture that will help your brain stay in the outside world. Such as a lava stone bracelet or a small rock. Rubbing your fingers on that helps you remain in controle. 
          
          2. Set a wallpaper on your phone or tablet of a quote that helps you get through your day. If you can’t find one https://miss-mental.com/10-affirmations-for-anxiety-with-free-phone-wallpapers/ has some good ones. 
          
          3. Breathing in and out while focusing on one thing in the room can help of course this doesn’t always work. 
          
          4.  Playing music that’s more upbeat helps put me in a good music 
          
          5. Forcing myself to say positive things. I have asked friends to slap me if I talk negative about myself. 
          
          7.  Journaling, I know everyone says that but literally writing anything that comes to mind down helps. Sometimes I’ll write all my worries down take the paper and go outside and burn it. My friend wrote a short story of everything she would do to depression if it was a person. 
          
          8. Going for a walk while listening to music. 
          
          9. Sitting outside listening to music. 
          
          10. Literally just listening to music.

Reminder for my wonderful children I’m here: Get up and go drink some WATER! Go get some food it won’t hurt you. If you have one take that binder off it’s ok you need a break. Taking off your binder won’t make you any less valid. Go take a shower or a bath. Go tell yourself that’s you are valid and worthy of love and respect. I don’t care if you believe it or not. If you don’t believe it won’t make it any less true. Take down those negative thoughts you keep telling yourself and tell yourself that you ARE awesome. you ARE smart.  You ARE valid. You ARE worthy of love AND respect. Cause if you don’t I will spam your messages with tons of positive quotes.
