Genuine question; If I ever decide to self-publish books in the future (doubt I would dare to contact a publisher), does anyone think I'm able to write well enough to do so? I don't really believe that much in my skills and I honestly never thought of my own writing and ideas as (that) good. However, it's clear that people enjoy what I write since I see the 'reads' and 'votes' on my books and people decide to follow my account. I genuinely trust and appreciate your opinions as you guys know my stories the best. Thank you <3

Once again, thank you @TysonIsGay. I'm of course not in any of those countries either . I'm European so it seems like it's not accessible to me. However, very happy to hear that you've found it and it sounds like a good option. @FluffyCrazyUnicorn I have another friend who also suggested Amazon kdp, so I might try that then. Thank you!

@aiiiiia Great question, I started printing and making ebooks via Amazon kdp. It's free! If you want to get a hard copy of your work, then it costs. Kindle books can be a variant of good to bad writings. Some have grammar errors and some look perfect. Have faith in yourself and your work. That's the basic or self publishing. Hybrid publishing can be tricky. Some companies are fakes. But all hybrid publishing companies requires you, the author, to pay for their work. They do their job; you pay for it. And YES it can be costly! Traditional publishing is hard ! In order to get your book through traditional publishing you need a literary agent. If the LA thinks your book is good enough then they will give a loan to the publishing house for your work. You have two years on shelf to make the money back before they collect. But don't worry, the LA and TP will push your work in every nook and cranny. In order to get the attention of the LA, you need to have many books published. I conversed with the author, Lori Foster, and she mentioned that the more books you put out and sell, the better chances to be recognized. But if you are looking for safe and easy methods that would be easy on the bank, self publishing is the way to go. Don't forget to order the copyright and there are many pathways to get your book into stores; such as Barnes and Nobles, Ingram (library system), Walmart, and many other resources. I hope this helps! Best of luck to ya! And if I got anything wrong, research is the best effort. ☺️

@aiiiiia I dont know where you live, and I won't ask because I know how personal questions feel weird when communicating online. But, I will give you this, "B&N Press is excited that Canadian, Australian, and New Zealand authors can now directly publish with us!". That is where B&N Press operates rn outside of America, so if you live in one of those countries you can use my favorite (B&N Press) there! If not, you could look for book printing in your country. I wish you the best of luck. But, I would still do as I said before to get yourself well acquainted with the feeling of being a self-publishing author. STILL! BEST OF LUCK TO YOU!
