I wanted to take a moment to address some recent comments and clarify a few important points about the plot of Torn Between Them (TBT).
Let’s be honest: this story is NOT a fairytale, and it's not all sunshine and rainbows. It's a dark romance/drama, and as stated in the trigger warnings, it includes heavy, non-consensual themes and deeply disturbing actions.
I want to make one thing 100% clear: I do NOT, and will NEVER, romanticize, normalize, or glorify SA or abuse.
The act committed by Zayden (who is written as an antagonist/villain) was intentional, horrific, and meant to be disturbing. I purposefully kept it non-graphic and cut parts out, because I don't write this for shock value. I wrote it because it's the tragic catalyst for Aadhya’s story.
If you continue reading, you will see that she suffers severe psychological trauma, and the story focuses heavily on the realistic, dark consequences of that trauma.
TBT isn't a typical soft love triangle. It’s a story about survival, manipulation, and a female main character trying to regain control over her life in a very dangerous dynamic.
