Why am I not enough?
I have no Mother,
"You're a disgrace!"
I have no Father,
My position in mankind is misplaced!
Why am I not enough?
"Oh look, the immune girl!"
The bite that does no harm,
My arm is a fungus farm.
Why am I not enough?
"The cure for the world".
I'm less deserving,
But due to my attraction to girls,
You can't do more observing.
Why am I not enough?
"The one gay girl in Military School".
So what? That doesn't make me any less of a human being!
It doesn't make me look cool!
And due to the Fireflies, I'm now fleeing.
Why am I not enough?
"That bite on your arm looks like a hickey!
So? Unlike you, I'm tough!
But you certainly aren't picky!

"The one girl who can't swim!"
I hate you,
"Hey Ellie, your hair needs a trim".
Yeah, says you!

"You play an instrument?",
Yeah, a guitar, I think the tuners bent.
But at least I'm not sitting in a bar!

"You got a tattoo?",
Oh sure, now you notice!
Why am I not enough?
Life is too short not to fail,
That's why I follow my own trail.
So to all of the bullies who thought,
They were nice,
You all have hearts made of ice!
