Akayla Furrows loves writing erotic romance.  She lovingly refers to as smut. The market has evolved to those who enjoy short stories, with quick results. Akayla loves her two dogs, a standard poodle, and a crippled chihuahua. They keep her company when her husband is working long hours. She finds that the chihuahua enjoys sharing her chair as she writes, snuggled in her lap.  While the poodle is in and out of the house bantering the neighbor's rooster on the side of the fence.  According to Akayla, it's a love-hate relationship between the two.

Akayla is an avid reader. She tells us that Kindle Unlimited has saved her 'ass' a shit load of money.  All of her books participate in Kindle Unlimited as well.  "Best idea since...women's vibrators."

On her website, she tends to put up several scenes from stories she is working on, so you get an idea of where the story is headed, and sneak peeks too. But also she feels it helps if the reader leaves comments about the characters, their situation, setting, etc. And according to Akayla, "feedback is priceless!"
