I dunno why I'm even saying this man, maybe it's because I am thoda sa confused. I read a lot of fanfiction, many fics of Ishman and Abhiman, and maine ek thing notice kiya tha, that in those fics, shubman is always like... toxic as hell at first, bohot arrogant, and also very much a red flag, and also, if they want to add some disagreement, it's always shubman who fucks up, like shubman who leaves or something like that, and this got me thinking like, agar canon compliant fics likhna hai toh you should be doing justice to the character's personality ryt?? because, not only do they make shubman toxic, they make ishan and abhishek overly... I dunno, innocent, bohot sa, and even when they mess up, aisa ho jata hai ki, it is not a big deal, since shubman messes up even worse. mujhe aisa dikhta hai ki power imbalance bohot hota hai yahan, and It's just my opinion, but thoda sad ho jati hoon man, jab mai aise stories padhti hoon, like plot will be so good, lekin aisa ban jata hai ki shubman is the one who fucks up, and makes mistakes, and has to beg for forgiveness, aur uske baad bhi, jab the other person makes a mistake(hote hai, agar relationship mai mistakes nahi hue toh it is actually very bad for the relationshp, learning is always important nah?), it doesn't become a big deal, shubman just forgives them instantly, and another thing, it's him always taking care of the other person, but care toh dono taraf hona chahiye, it shouldn't be like only one person is taking care, the other doesn't do it at all.
