Hi everyone
How are you? It’s been so long since we met on the scribbled side of thoughts and paper.
Writing is a powerful world—it consumes you. It carries you through emotions of self-discovery, through extreme hollowness, and through extreme fulfillment. It’s more than recognition and appreciation. It’s so much, much, much more than everything fancy and subjective.
Writing has healed me—in times when I didn’t even know I needed healing. But now, when I look back, I realize it did. It has been my companion. My friend. My therapy. My pillow for thoughts.
If not for books, I think I might have grown up with a very shallow version of myself. I won’t say I’m the best version of me now—no, I’m not. I’m as flawed as we all are. I still have anger issues. I still have insecurities. I still carry unfulfilled dreams. I still want to excel at everything I do. And yes, I still can’t manage my time.
And yet—I believe I am a better version of myself.
And yet—I hope I will become better.
Reading itself is a universe of its own. It takes you places. It lets you live lives you’ll never live, moments you’ll never have, heartbreaks you wouldn’t survive, love you can only hope for, pain you know is insufferable.
Reading is a blessing.
It's gaining.
It's losing.
It is so much more than words. It’s an emotion. And it’s the only way to live multiple lives as if they were your own.
So yes—those who read are powerful. You are powerful. ✨
And now... community voting has started for Wattys 2025!
It runs from 22 September to 28 September. All you have to do is open your favourite book, pick any chapter, and cast your vote.
Between the Blue isn’t just mine—it belongs to each one of you who have read it and felt it.
I won’t just tell you to vote for Between the Blue. Vote for any book you’ve loved, any story you’ve lived.
Because it matters.
To every author who has lived it too.
So please vote—I can only request.
Hiral and Riddhan hope for it.
Love,
Akanksha ✨

It has taken me time to even process this. But I mean I am still stunned. But I also feel you guys will feel happier than me because you all have stuck to this book while it was going on.
So like Guys Between The Blue got shortlisted for Wattys 2025.
Imagine so many years, such a long journey, after years of living in Oblivion. Between the blue came and got shortlisted. Did I think of it ? NO. Did I hope for it when I submitted? To be honest it was too far fetched that I really didn't put a thought into it. I just submitted.
But IMAGINE IT GOT SELECTED.
AND THAT TOO UNDER ROMANCE.
LIKE IMAGINE.
And it's only you guys I can celebrate it with.
So yeah cheers to us.
Love,
Akanksha

U told me u would start 2nd part of book from 1st August but half of sep has gone there is no update about it. Atleast tell us about whereabouts. Your readers deserves this atleast.

@sushmaanilsah Hi. I am here. Yes I told you guys something and I am not going to run away from that. The only answer I have right now that Above the Blue is in progress. I have been writing it but at the same time I don't want to post until I have a few chapters at hand and have the plot figured out so that the schedule doesn't break. You guys----My readers deserve much much more than knowing about my whereabouts and I will forever want to be considerate about that. I know sep is half gone but truly...honestly, I will only post once I have the book fully planned out and have something that when you guys read...you do feel yeah it's worth it. I apologise for keeping you all waiting but I do need time and I don't know how to convey that in any other way.

Hello author.
When are you gonna start the 2nd part of the "Between the blue"??
Hum0ur_me
I'd love for you to give my story a try! It's a slow-burning, romantic tale set in modern-day Bihar, where arranged marriages are still a prevalent tradition.
As a first-time writer, I'm pouring my heart into this narrative, and I'd be thrilled to hear your thoughts.
I'd appreciate your feedback a lot.

Akanksha I know this is not the end of their story, you will come back for sure, make them meet again and I just..can't help it their destined phir le aaya dil moment. But please, take how much time you want to take, can you please write 4 words or one line for them, making me believe that their scars will get healed, specially their invisible ones. They will get the love their eyes treasured all this time in above the blues, above the past and futures, above all the things that made them who they are.

@saatia7 Same, ik it's gonna take time for her to come up with the next book and we are absolutely going to wait for it!!
