Not sure who still reads my works since i’ve been inactive, but I wanted to hop on and say hello to you all and let you know that I miss you. I welcomed a baby girl into the world and it’s been very busy as you can imagine. I hope you’re all doing well!

Hope you guys enjoyed the latest update! This one had some Easter eggs. One of them being we saw that interview with George and Ashlyn again, similar to the one in the chapter Work Song in the first Take It Back, but did you notice how different it is when some of the points came from Ashlyn’s POV this time? Did you catch the differences? Would also love to hear your guys opinion on Connor. He’ll play a huge part in this going forward. Like I said, some of these flashbacks scenes in the beginning of this story will feel similar but they really aren’t. Very important to read carefully.

          Next chapter is one I’m very excited for. Remember the year where Bucky and Reader got close while Ashlyn was away that we didn’t see? Ashlyn’s work trips and what happened at that New Years party that Steve and Reader kissed? We are about to see that full journey.

          Thanks again to everyone who read the recent update carefully and again feedback is always appreciated!

Hope not too many people lost interest in TIB2 because of my delays. I have stuff approaching on the horizon! And also to illiterate what I told someone earlier who asked me if TIB2 is even important…yes. It’s essential.

          There’s things that happened that you don’t know happened, and also the different sides. The different scenes we never got to saw and how they might change your view of not just some of the plot but the characters as well. Not necessarily changing the story at all, but adding the filling. The story is more complex and heartbreaking than it seems. Especially from Bucky’s and Ashlyn’s side. Don’t even get me started on Steve and Nat. And how that will play into Bucky x Reader is very important. I do think it’s an extremely important read if you’ve read the first one. I’m even considering making it optional for people that haven’t read the first one yet that they can opt into reading TIB2 first and then TIB if they want, but not suggested. But I know people will go back and read the first one with somewhat a different look after reading this one. Hence the not suggested lol; two experiences. But that’s how it will play into each other so much and how important it is. The His in His Story definitely applies to multiple characters. Not just Bucky. Stuff coming soon I promise. Now that Ashens has been wrapped up, it should be smooth sailing from here.

I think author was hacked. Someone left a suspicious message on her tumblr a few weeks ago saying they took her accounts and she stopped answering messages. She also has not updated. I feel for her and I hope it’s not true. Her work is amazing.

@noiyagama oh no I really really hope that's not the case, her stories are so special, I'd hate to think she's having to deal with all that!

As much as I love creating new fics and try really hard to make something I love, I feel like I will never write anything like Take It Back, which kind of upsets me, but at the same time, it doesn’t. To this day, I still don’t know how I wrote that thing. There’s so much about it that at times I kind of have this out of body thing where I stare at it and I’m like, did I write this in a fever dream? Even the playlist…it just clicks. I didn’t think twice about any of it and hadn’t made a change since.

          I only remember the experience while I was writing it but the way it just unraveled and how it came to be, I don’t think I’ll ever experience something like that again with another project. I also don’t think there will be any other that will come close as well. It upsets me because it’s always that one and I’d wish to experience it again, but at the same time that story is my fucking baby. You guys have no idea. I will make new projects and say that new one is my new passion project, but Take It Back lives in the twists and turns of my writing soul. I still can’t believe I wrote that thing and still can’t believe you guys still read it, too.

          I know I’m fucking ranting right now but I feel like I never expressed this before in this way. Like I still don’t know how I wrote that thing. I didn’t even have an outline for it. It literally was my damn diary of emotions for two years.

          I also want to add again, even though I know I’ve been saying it for years, but I really from the bottom of my heart want to thank every single one of you who gave it a chance. I know there was so many out there who initially turned away from it because it had cheating, but then you still have it a chance and ended up liking it. I know how hard that was for some of you and it still is for some, but I truly thank you for giving it a chance. Forever thankful for the journey that story took me and wherever else it might lead to in the future.

Take It Back is unlike any story I’ve ever read. I cannot even explain how many things it made me feel, but i mean real and raw emotions i didn’t know were possible. You’re so incredibly talented, and i’m also super sure you will experience those things again. <3

@alandoflimbo
            Take It Back is always the story that comes to my mind first when i think about my favourites. Thank you for putting so much of yourself into it and allowing us all to experience it.

            Im not a writer, just an avid reader, so i cannot imagine the mental and physical energy that goes into these stories. But i do know that in life the more pressure we put on ourselves, the more we hurt ourselves and the less we achieve. You have created other quite magical stories (Ashens ) that although may not live in your heart the way Take It Back does, will be living in someone’s heart, somewhere. And will be the ones that some people will turn to when they have nowhere else to go. Thats the magic of fiction. And I am in awe if authors like yourself who have the talent to create such wonderful universes and take us on journeys. You rock and there will be another Take It Back for you, Im sure.

            Yours,
            A patient reader waiting for His Story to be completed
