I've enjoyed reading science fiction since I was a teenager and  thought for many years about writing some myself but never had any ideas.  Then about 5 years some ideas suddenly appeared in my head  and I wrote 2 stories in quick succession one of which I expanded into a short novel.  Since then I have written another novel, some more stories and some poetry.
